Foundation Stabilization

If your house is showing signs of movement or settling, EC Foundations may recommend conducting an exploratory hole in order to thoroughly assess the state of your home’s foundation walls and the soil conditions at the base of the footing. It is crucial to have a geotechnical engineer test the undisturbed soil in order to determine if the structural integrity of the soil has been compromised, and to what extent.

The findings from our exploratory hole will allow us to propose a scope of work that is not only a permanent solution, but also the most cost-effective method of repair. Some of our recommended solutions include underpinning, benching, lightweight fill, and removal of frost susceptible materials.

To complete the job, the walls are then waterproofed.
